Terms of Use

1. Purpose of Tamil UI

Tamil UI exists to improve awareness of Tamil-first design systems, public-service UX, accessibility, design education, and open-source component practices. It provides examples, templates, articles, demos, and code for learning and adaptation.

2. No official government service

Any government-style pages, ration shop interfaces, TN Gov redesigns, forms, public-service blocks, or dashboard examples are concept demos for UX education. They are not official portals, do not issue certificates, do not process benefits, and do not replace government instructions.

3. User responsibility

• Verify important information with official sources before acting.
• Do not rely on demos for legal, financial, medical, government, or employment decisions.
• Do not enter real citizen records, confidential workplace material, private documents, or personal identity data into demos.
• Review accessibility, security, privacy, and legal requirements before using any example in production.

4. Open-source code and package use

Code that is clearly published under the project license may be used under that license. You are responsible for checking the license file, dependency licenses, and package terms before copying, modifying, publishing, or distributing code.

5. Content rights

Unless a page or repository file clearly says otherwise, articles, writing, brand assets, diagrams, screenshots, videos, illustrations, and educational content are not automatically licensed for unrestricted reuse. You may link to them, quote short excerpts with attribution where lawful, and request permission for broader reuse.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not attack, scrape aggressively, overload, reverse engineer private systems, or bypass access controls.
• Do not use the privacy scanner or demos to fetch private pages, internal systems, or confidential data.
• Do not misrepresent Tamil UI examples as official government services.
• Do not remove attribution, license notices, disclaimers, or source credits from reused material.
• Do not use the project to harass, defame, impersonate, or mislead any person or institution.

7. No warranty

The site and package are provided as-is. Tamil UI does not promise that every example is complete, secure, legally compliant, accessible in every context, error-free, or suitable for your production use.

8. Changes

Tamil UI may update, remove, rename, or restructure pages, examples, package APIs, and policies. If a change materially affects privacy or legal terms, the updated page date should be changed.
